1st Call for Papers

The Journal of Gender and Social Inquiry is a double-blind, peer-reviewed journal published biannually. We invite original research papers for the first volume of the journal.

The Journal of Gender and Social Inquiry is fully committed to highlight indigenous social inquiry with a cross-cutting gender and recommending policy interventions based on the scientific inquiry. The journal is inviting papers on the following themes:

  • Education and inclusivity
  • Climate change and policy-making
  • Religion, culture and society
  • Terrorism and radicalization
  • Health Inequalities in Pakistan
  • Mental health and wellbeing in post-covid Pakistan
  • Economic growth and poverty alleviation
  • Role of social movements in achieving development for all
  • Gender inequality in Pakistan
  • Gender, law and social justice 

The journal welcomes empirical research papers (both quantitative and qualitative), theoretical contributions, meta-analyses, systematic reviews, and methodological papers. Interdisciplinary research that integrates theoretical frameworks, advance research methodologies, and sociological and gender perspectives with other fields such as education, media, law, criminology, psychology, public health, social work, special education, and economics is also encouraged.
