The Journal of Gender and Social Inquiry is a double-blind, peer-reviewed journal published biannually. We invite original research papers for the first volume of the journal.
The Journal of Gender and Social Inquiry is fully committed to highlight indigenous social inquiry with a cross-cutting gender and recommending policy interventions based on the scientific inquiry. The journal is inviting papers on the following themes:
- Violence against women: Reporting services, patterns, and practices
- Women, health, and the realities of being differently abled
- Gender and religious minorities
- Women’s political empowerment in Pakistan: Beyond representation
- Gender, law, and social justice
- Religion, culture, and society
- Education and inclusivity
The journal welcomes empirical research papers (both quantitative and qualitative), theoretical contributions, meta-analyses, systematic reviews, and methodological papers. Interdisciplinary research that integrates theoretical frameworks, advance research methodologies, and sociological and gender perspectives with other fields such as education, media, law, criminology, psychology, public health, social work, special education, and economics is also encouraged.
